Fan3D Terms of Use

Understand the boundaries for the product, accounts, purchases, licensing, and external agents before using Fan3D.

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Important

This page describes Fan3D’s current product boundaries and basic rules. A separate written agreement between your organization and Fan3D controls the matters it covers.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the Fan3D native macOS app, official website, accounts, purchase services, product documentation, and related services that reference them. By using Fan3D, you agree to these terms; if you disagree, stop using the product.

If you use Fan3D for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to manage the relevant projects, media, and output. Creator currently grants a personal commercial license, not a team or organization seat.

2. Product, accounts, and local data

Fan3D is a native macOS 3D content-creation tool. You can create and edit .fan3d projects, import media, preview scenes, and render or export locally. Projects and media are stored on your Mac or another location you choose by default.

An account identifies the purchaser, records orders, and synchronizes Fan3D membership access. Signing in does not automatically upload projects. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in method and activity under your account.

3. Free and Creator

Free and Creator use the same complete creation toolkit. Free is for personal, non-commercial use. Creator adds a personal commercial license, the complete eligible resource catalog, and standard support. See the Creator Personal Commercial License for details.

International Creator is currently $19.99 during a limited 50%-off offer; the regular price is $39.99. It is charged once and does not renew automatically.

4. Purchases, orders, and access

Start the Creator purchase from the Fan3D app. Fan3D creates an order and opens the Creem-hosted checkout. Confirm the purchasing account, currency, and amount before paying.

A QR code, app message, browser redirect, or Creem page is not proof of payment. The server-side Fan3D order and Creator entitlement records are authoritative. See the Payment and Refund Policy for details.

5. Projects, media, and output

You retain the rights you hold in projects you create, media you select, and output you export. You are responsible for obtaining permission for every image, video, font, model, trademark, or other asset used in your work.

Fan3D processes projects and media locally by default. Keep reliable copies of important projects and verify the result before overwriting, replacing, or deleting content.

6. External agents

When supported by your version, you may connect an external agent installed on your Mac. Fan3D does not bundle a model, agent loop, or model credentials; you manage the relevant installation, account, fees, and credentials.

An external agent processes project context only after you enable it and start a task within the granted scope. The provider’s terms and privacy rules also apply.

7. Acceptable use

Use Fan3D lawfully, carefully, and with respect for other people’s rights. You must not:

  • Process or publish media you have no right to use, or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights.
  • Use Fan3D to create unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or impersonating content.
  • Bypass account, payment, license, or security controls; disrupt the service; or distribute, resell, or modify product components without authorization.

8. Third-party services and system environment

Fan3D may rely on macOS capabilities and, at your direction, connect to authentication, Creem, external agents, media sources, or other third-party services. Each provider is responsible for its availability, content, and data handling.

Changes to system versions, device performance, media formats, or third-party services may affect features. Review previews and final output before important delivery.

9. Updates, discontinuation, and contact

We may update Fan3D or these terms for product quality, security, compatibility, or legal reasons. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way. Keep project copies and verify new versions before important work.

You may stop using Fan3D or request account deletion at any time. We may restrict online services for material violations, infringement, or security risk. Questions can be sent to support@fandcode.com.
